London weekend

It's fantastic living "close" to London. Just two hours unlocked an afternoon of the weird/wonderful Alexander McQueen, V&A. The exhibition design is top-notch; add a haunting hologram show, perfectly curated media clips and the "clothes" (artworks?) themselves and you have a fantastic afternoon. If you can go, go.

London is also home to many friends. From Brixton ale bars to samba infused, katsu burger eating garden parties, the "how" of getting together always surprises. As ever, though, I'd have preferred twice as long, doing twice as much and seeing twice as many folk. A great weekend: when's the next one?
