Don't Look Up

Poignant, horrifying, funny, balanced, and utterly depressing. But also great.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf

Great action and fun ideas, if a little muddled at times, with some interesting accents.

Death on the Nile

An excellent adaptation from a star-studded cast, with a rather fun midway twist, but let down a little by the ending.

The Other Guys

Bad writing, high-school improv level comedy, a dull plot, and utterly unlikeable characters. Truly awful.

Jessica Jones

A dark and depressing look at addiction, abuse and guilt wrapped up in a surprisingly entertaining superhero show. The first season is astounding; the second struggles finding the light outside of its immense shadow.

The New Frontier

A bold, tightly constructed story that neatly blends the Golden Age of heroes with DC's Silver Age, with plenty of grounding the real-world politics and issues of the time.

The Book of Boba Fett

Fun action and some great characters, but largely lacking depth or nuance; a little overshadowed by its predecessor, even within its own story.

The King's Man

A surprisingly grounded origin story with some unexpected beats, but ultimately lacks the flair and consistency of the more modern setting.

Centaur World

Loveable weirdness with some surprisingly fun gimmicks and dark undertones.

House of M

A genuinely interesting idea executed extremely well, with great pacing and some very clever moments.

All-Star Superman

A fun twist on the classic character with some strong beats, but a little incoherent if you aren't knee-deep in the existing lore.

Groundhog Day

A classic, with a brilliant original concept done so well everything else has struggled to break out.
